At the end of September, Bailey began a corticosteroid trial for treatment of her DBA. Up until that point, she had been receiving blood transfusions every 3-4 weeks at JHH. So far, Bailey has been showing a response and doing well on the steroid treatment. We are praying that this will remain her new treatment plan and that she will continue to respond as her dose is slowly tapered.
