Music & The Arts

Ok, so sometimes I try and be crafty at home...when tired of the same old toys. We we made a craft with a papertowel roll, aluminum foil, & stickers...still not quite sure what we made though...I guess it makes a good microphone or something! Then we had some playdoh time!

Bailey loves to play on her piano, and today, was performing her version of
Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, followed by her "happy song."

Pajamas & Pancakes-Part II

In keeping with the tradition, it was time to gather up the kids, and with a rainy day, it was a great time to keep the kids in PJs and eat some pancakes...

Kisses for Joshie

Hearth Group

Last week, our hearth group had a fun time together, hanging out, and wishing a loving farewell to Sarah & Steven, who are Raleigh-bound. We will miss them and baby Gabe!!! Our kids sure do know how to have a good time together!

Fun time with Baby Ania

Last week, I had the gift of watching a friend's daughter, Ania, and we spent the day playing together with Bailey, who LOVED to hold her, make her laugh, and pretty much help me keep her entertained. Bubble time was followed by messy paint time, unfortunately, I couldn't capture those pictures...as I was trying to contain the mess!

Happy Birthday Dominic!

We went to PA a few weeks ago to celebrate our nephew's fifth birthday! Is he really FIVE already!? It was a G.I.Joe theme! Bails had fun with her cousins Dominic & Cady, and Mommy & Daddy got to visit with Uncle Todd and Beth, Uncle Nick and Aunt Erin, & Mom Mom!

Fire Museum of Maryland

Last Saturday, we walked up to the fire museum and saw the old time fire engines and horses for the Fire Museum open house. Jeff, Josh, & Katelyn met us up there!

Farmers at last...

We finally have our garden finished and ready...tomatoes, green beans, peppers, zucchini, strawberries, cucumbers, cilantro, basil, & oregano! Bailey helped plant the seeds by dropping them in the holes I dug, and she found her first worm---we are so proud! Ben cut the wood around the outside of the garden and we put up a fence to keep out the wild creatures (and Dutchess).

Plants all set & ready to be planted...
the rest are seeds or seedlings we started inside

Fence is up!
